Latest Trip: North Island, Seychelles This resort was the recent destination for the royal couple on their honeymoon. If it is fit for royalty, it surely must be good enough for a woman like me? Lets find out... North Island is accessed by helicopter, this was quite an experience and the perfect start to a holiday. The weather was great and the island itself looked amazing. There was a warm welcome from the staff which is to be expected from a high end resort. The villa I had was really beautiful. There were local materials and designs which gave it an authentic feel. This was complimented by mod cons such as air con and a massive hot tub. There was an outdoor shower too which I didn't use, but I'm sure honeymooners would love. Service was really attentive throughout my stay. There was always someone at hand to help me with anything I needed. Anybody looking for activities may find North Island a little limited, but there was some decent snorkelling along the white sandy beach. Food was excellent with a real variety of tasty dishes. All in all I would have to give North Island Seychelles 9 out of 10. I can see exactly why the royal couple had their honeymoon there. It is romantic, quiet and very picturesque. -------------- You can browse through the pages in the menu for premier holidays in different parts of the world. So far I have visited some of the more exotic locations. These places have all provided me with an excellent getaway from my busy work life in the UK. Some are of course better than others. I judge this in terms of value for money, setting, service and overall quality. Many people will visit one of these high end resorts only once in their life, for example on a honeymoon or anniversary. The reason that I have created this site is to give people some impartial opinions on these world class resorts.
For anyone interested, I do all by booking through Only Exclusive Travel (UK). They feature all of the destinations I have visited and do very good value hassle free packages. I used to go down the route of booking my flight separately but the hassle wasn't worth it, and travel agents seem to get great deals as they have special relationships with airlines and the actual resorts.
